READY FOR DROWNING
Not released as a single.
This song is partly about Richey,
partly about the insecurity of the Welsh nation and partly about
"the self destructiveness of the Welsh as individuals".
It is also partly about the drowning of an entire welsh village.
In the mid-1960's a village called Treweryn
was evacuated and then flooded as part of
a scheme to build a resevoir to supply Birmingham and Liverpool
with water.
