PROZAC - Is the brand name for the drug Fluoxetine hydrochloride which is an antidepressant drug used in the treatment of depression, body dysmorphic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (O.C.D.), Bulimia nervosa, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and panic disorder.
Prozac was invented at Eli Lilly and Company by a team headed by Dr. Ray W. Fuller, with Drs. Bryan B. Molloy and David T. Wong.
