The songs lyrics are about the disease Gilles De La Tourette syndrome - a condition of severe and multiple tics, including verbal tics and involuntary obscene speech. The patient may also involuntarily repeat words or imitate actions of others. The condition usually starts in childhood and becomes chronic. The causes are unknown.
Richey and Nicky wrote the song after seeing a documentary on a young boy who suffered from Tourettes Syndrome.
